In\u00a02016<\/strong>\u00a0the\u00a0Vargas State<\/strong>\u00a0authorities launched a major project to construct a\u00a017-km seafront<\/strong>\u00a0in northern Venezuela, between the cities of\u00a0Punta de Mulatos<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Macuto<\/strong>. In all,\u00a014 walls<\/strong>\u00a0are under construction, extending along a total length of\u00a0900\u00a0meters<\/strong>, with an average height of\u00a04.48\u00a0meters<\/strong> and an area of\u00a04,500\u00a0m2<\/strong>.\u00a0HA 50 x 4 mm<\/strong>\u00a0galvanised flat bars are being used to reinforce the solid fa\u00e7ade and the facing is\u00a0TerraClass\u00ae<\/strong>\u00a0yellow stone-effect finish, with allegorical marine figures in bas-relief.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n For the construction of the walls, Freyssinet \u2013 Tierra armada de Venezuela has been able to combine its\u00a0experience\u00a0<\/strong>and knowledge with the guidelines and recommendations of the geotechnical engineer in charge of the Project, creating an\u00a0iconic work<\/strong>\u00a0that will promote the economic development of the State.<\/p>\n Already known as the\u00a0Cinta Costera<\/strong>, the purpose of the esplanade is to create a seafront lined with\u00a0restaurants\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0infrastructures\u00a0<\/strong>that promotes\u00a0sporting<\/strong>,\u00a0recreational<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0cultural activities<\/strong>. It will also stimulates\u00a0local tourism<\/strong>\u00a0and bring in visitors to\u00a0Caracas\u00a0<\/strong>on account of its proximity, attracting outside investment.<\/p>\n<\/div>
\nFreyssinet \u2013 Tierra Armada Venezuela<\/strong> was chosen to construct the walls of the works, using their Reinforced Earth\u00ae<\/strong> solution keeping with the project budgets, in spite of the difficult economic and social situations prevailing in the country.<\/p>\nLocalisation<\/h2>\n<\/div>
